Equity Business Brokers approached the hive.net.au team with a website that had not been updated for six years and had lost any Search Engine Optimisation value that it may have originally had. The original site was operating across two separate domains; content information was stored on one domain and the business listings on another.

Equity Business Brokers have been deploying the services of a third party business listing system and wanted to reduce the need for this service. Advertisements in a local tabloid classifieds were not being converted to follow through enquiries via the website.

Solution

The hive.net.au team provided a complete redesign of the existing Equity Business Brokers website through our Standard Web Development Package, streamlining all content to one domain. The new site was transferred to hiveWebHosting allowing the hive.net.au team to provide all-inclusive customer support as well as peace of mind through our exceptional server history. A Content Management System platform was used as the basis for the website enabling the brokers to add new listings and edit existing pages ad hoc. A modern, clean and professional look and feel supports the simple navigational design enabling visitors to easily access sought after information.

The hive.net.au Technical Team designed the site to be search engine friendly with site maps submitted to the leading search engines and DMOZ. Google Analytics integration enables the hive.net.au team to measure the success of website traffic and enquiries as well as providing a basis for monthly analysis of Search Engine Optimisation and ongoing maintenance. Upon deployment of the new website, hive.net.au provided training sessions as well as a Content Management System User Guide being provided.

Results

Prior to the new site going live, no visitors accessed the site through search engine results. After only one month there has been an approximate increase of 600% in site visitors, of which approximately 48% are reaching equtiybusinessbrokers.com.au from search engines.
